Welcome to Kids TV, Inc. d/b/a HopscotchTV! We're excited to share fun, safe, family-friendly shows, games, and more through our website (hopscotchtv.com), mobile app, and related services (together, our "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the rules for using HopscotchTV. By using our Service, you (or your parent/guardian if you're a kid) agree to follow them. Read this with a grown-up!

1. Who We Are

Kids TV, Inc., doing business as HopscotchTV ("HopscotchTV," "we," "us," or "our"), is a company that brings you awesome kids' TV shows, videos, games, and other fun stuff for families.

2. Who Can Use Our Service

Age Rules:

  • Kids under 13 need a parent or guardian's permission to use our Service. A grown-up must set up and manage your account!
  • If you're 13 or older, you can use it, but if you're under 18, have a parent read these Terms with you.

Agreement: Using the Service means you (or your parent) agree to these Terms and any extra rules for special features ("Additional Terms").

Follow Laws: You must use HopscotchTV in a way that obeys laws where you live.

3. Your License to Use HopscotchTV

  • Watch, play, and enjoy our shows, games, and videos on up to two personal devices (like a tablet, phone, or computer) for family fun only.
  • Download stuff temporarily to view or play at home, not to keep or share.

Limits:

  • This is just for personal, family use—not for business or selling.
  • You don't own our content; we just let you use it while you follow the rules.
  • We can stop this permission anytime without notice if needed.

What You Can't Do:

  • Don't copy, share, change, or make new things from our Content.
  • Don't try to hack or mess up our Service.
  • Don't use it in a way that hurts HopscotchTV or others.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

Our Content: The Service has fun stuff like shows, games, pictures, sounds, and the cool look of our app and site (called "Content").

Who Owns It: HopscotchTV owns the way we put Content together. We and our partners own all rights to our name, logos, and designs.

Respect Rules: Using Content without permission might break copyright or other laws and could get you in trouble.

5. Subscription and Payment

Fees: Some Content needs a paid subscription. You (or your parent) agree to pay the fee (check our site for plans—maybe monthly or yearly).

Billing: You let us charge your payment method (like a credit card). Fees aren't refundable once a period starts.

Cancellation: Parents can cancel anytime, but no refunds for part of a period. See our site or app for how to cancel.

6. User Conduct and Responsibilities

Be Nice:

  • Don't post or send anything mean, illegal, or unsafe.
  • Don't try to hack, break, or mess up our Service.
  • Don't pretend to be someone else.

Your Stuff: You're in charge of getting internet, devices, and tools to use HopscotchTV.

Protect Us: You agree to cover any problems (like costs or claims) if you break these Terms or hurt the Service.

7. International Use

Outside the U.S.: If you use HopscotchTV from another country, you must follow your local laws. We don't promise the Service works everywhere.

8. Termination and Enforcement

Stopping Access: We can pause or end your use of the Service anytime, without warning, if we think you broke the rules.

Checking Up: We might look into rule-breaking and share info with police if the law asks, to keep everyone safe.

After It Ends: Some rules (like who owns Content and protecting us) still apply even if you stop using the Service.

9. Disclaimers and Liability

No Big Liability: We're not responsible for extra damages (like lost fun or data) from using HopscotchTV, as the law allows.

Apple Users: If you use our app on an Apple device, Apple isn't responsible for the Service or Content.

10. Miscellaneous

Governing Law: These Terms follow U.S. and California laws, with any fights settled in California courts.

No Sharing: You can't give your rights under these Terms to others; we might.

Waivers: Any rule changes we okay must be in writing.
